Customers located in South Hill are unable to access the voicemail platform.  When dialing the main access number 434-584-6100 (4-6100) end users are receiving a fast busy signal.  This issue is being researched by Telecommunications Services' Tier III Support.

Network Services is currently working with our remote ISP provider to troubleshoot slow network performance at the VCU Steam Plant, Physical Plant Administration Building and the Physical Plant Warehouses located on Oliver Hill Way. There is currently no ETA on service restoration.

The ODSPROD refresh has now completed, and the majority of the processes to update custom tables in ODSPROD have completed as well.

ODSPROD data and the VCU Reporting Center are now available, and only SAS Visual Analytics reports and dashboards are still pending. We will resolve the incident when all SAS Visual Analytics dashboards and reports are up to date.

What:

Network Services will change the RamsVPN system, where a new client version of 4.10.06079 will be required to connect to all OS versions of Microsoft Windows.  

When:

This change is expected to happen at 11 PM on 11/9/2022 and be completed by midnight on 11/9/2022. 

The impact: 

Post our change, all connecting Microsoft Windows users will automatically get a prompt that their client is being upgraded from an older version of 4.9.05052 to the current minimum version of 4.10.06079.    If your AnyConnect client version is already at 4.10.06079 or higher, then no impact is expected for you.

We have implemented a workaround to prevent Canvas login issues for this afternoon/evening, and we are continuing to monitor for any additional issues. We believe that this issue is related to the active alert Service Outage for ODS Production.
